This is a basic ascorbic acid product. Basically all ascorbic acid is derived from GMOs (corn I think). This product doesn't have any binders because it's not bound -- it's simply powder. In my experience, it seems very pure. There are no other ingredients listed than ascorbic acid. It is not good to take ascorbic acid on its own. Our bodies need bioflavanoids as well. According to Dr. James L. Wilson one should take ascorbic acid and bioflavanoids in a 1:2 ratio (so 500 g ascorbic acid to 250 g bioflavanoids). Very few products offer this (except Nature's Way which Swanson's Europe is not offering). The solution is to buy a pure bioflavanoids product and take ascorbic acid with it in the proper ratio. The other solution is to take vitamin C from food sources like acerola, but this is much more expensive and in much lower quantities. Wishing everyone good health.
